The Piolet from Velo Orange is a bikepacking and off-road riding frame and is specifically designed for off-road touring, including dirt and gravel roads, double track and single track.
The frame is made from double butted chromoly steel and is built to be robust, simple and very capable.
The fork is triple butted to reduce weight and provide additional stability. The seatstays are combined in a cool mono wishbone and complement the segmented fork.
The frameset is designed with bosses so you can easily mount luggage racks, water bottles, gear cages and even mudguards. The non-suspension-corrected fork handles predictably with or without load!
The Small size is designed for 26 x 2.4 inch tires. Medium, Large and XL use 29 x 2.4" or 27.5 x 2.8" tires.
