All Jones H-Bars have a 31.8mm stem clamp diameter and a 22.2mm clamp size for the controls (standard mountain bike style). The entire front loop is 22.2mm in diameter.
The crossbar of the Loop H-Bar is bent forward to allow the levers to be mounted behind the crossbar instead of in front of it. This allows for longer, uninterrupted hand positions and the mounting of triggers and grip/twist switches on the rear extensions (unlike the original H-Bar).
The loop increases rigidity and is good for additional aerodynamic hand positions and the mounting of lights, GPS units, etc. This bar offers comfort and strength at an impressive weight.
With the levers in the optimal position, you get a wide range of hand and body positions, from fully upright at the ends of the grips to an angled aerodynamic position, when resting your forearms over the crossbar and loop. The rear extensions allow for extra leverage and a wider hand position - be it for comfort or power.
All H-bars are designed to accommodate a 31.8 stem and the wishbone is now tapered and butted with a 31.8mm clamping surface. The handlebars on the aluminum version are also butted to save strength and weight. All H-bars have a standard 22.2mm diameter grip surface.
Try wrapping the wishbone with bar tape! You can wrap around both the wishbone and the loop (though it helps to leave a gap in the middle of the loop to attach your devices) if you want as many hand positions as possible!
Ideal for: Singlespeeds, 29ers, fatbikes, touring, bikepacking adventures, city riding and more! Compatible with: Singlespeeds, trigger shifters, Gripshift, Shimano twist shifters, Rohloff and above-bar thumb shifters
