This Croix De Fer frameset sees the return of Reynolds 931 stainless steel to the lineup. A superbly stiff material giving a unique spring to your pedal stroke. 931 is also incredibly corrosion resistant. Reynolds 931 is a seamless, cold-worked precipitation-hardening steel alloy based on a Carpenter Technology custom. Its very responsive, near indestructable and incredibly beautfiful.
A tapered head tube adds further stiffness to the front end whilst a threaded T47 bottom bracket shell increases surface area allowing for lighter tubes whilst opening up chainset compatibility.
