The Wagon Wheel chainring is designed for Shimano Direct Mount cranks and is suitable for all but 12-speed Shimano HG+ chains. The crank design is ideal for touring, as the preload is easily adjustable and the cranks can be removed with just an Allen key and a small plastic preload tool.
The 24 mm steel spindle is also robust and stiff. The only problem: There is only limited support for aftermarket chainrings for direct mount chainrings on these cranks. Tumbleweed developed this chainring specifically and primarily for its own designs and therefore provides a few additional models for anyone who might find them useful.
